St. Petersburg, Never a dull moment in Real Estate
I am not getting any leads,
My advertising in the magazines just doesn't work anymore,
My website is not doing well,
I have no showings for my listings. And on it goes. . .
As a broker, I constantly have to motivate my Realtors and Agents to
"Go forward" if the "same old" is not working anymore, you need to change something.
I guess it is just human nature to stay in your comfort zone. But the Real Estate business is moving so fast, and changing directions so fast, you have to keep up with this, and that means, leaving your comfort zone. If you don't, other will and that means, you will be left behind. So, here we go again, never a dull moment in Real Estate. Buyers and sellers are moving, they take advantage of the technology, you need to keep up with them and do the same. Standing still in Real Estate is actually moving backwards.
To all agents and Realtors out there, Yes, you need to know your market, you need to know Real Estate, but this is not enough anymore. You need to find new ways to reach your clients and the internet is the most effective tool at the moment. Don't forget your basics, you still have to meet new people, talk Real Estate, give out business cards. But the basics are just not enough if you want to make it in this kind of market.
