Blame it all on me. Me, that would be the real estate broker.
I truly believe that it is in the best interest of a seller and a buyer when the two Realtors or agents working the deal have a good and professional relationship.
Well, sometimes it is a little bit difficult and some agents get an attitude, or just won't listen or just take forever to get paperwork back etc.
So, every time I get a call from one of my agents, saying "I do not know what do to anymore, the other agent just does not. . . . . "
I give my Realtors a choice.
A. I, the broker will call the other agent
B. My agent calls the other agent and "blames it all on me"
As in, "Yes, I do understand how difficult all this is and I would wait, but my Broker just looked at the file, and she wants that piece of paper ASAP, and trust me, there is no arguing with her."
95% of the time, my agents chose option B. This way they can still maintain a friendly relationship with the other Realtor and I can live with the blame if that is what it takes.
