St. Pete Beach FL The ever-popular “Senior Excursions” at the St. Pete Beach Community Center are starting back this January and running through April. Guests travel to popular attractions and shopping destinations all over Tampa Bay without the hassles of driving, tolls and parking. The trips run almost every Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm with a few special trips occurring on other days of the week. Travel to places such as the Hard Rock Casino, the Strawberry Festival, IKEA, Mixon Groves, a Rays Spring Training game, and much more. Trips are just $12 for St. Pete Beach residents and $15 for non-residents; additional entry fees may apply. PLEASE don't ever let me get to be so old that I will particpate in a senior excursion! While it may have been grand for my parent's generation, I just don't think my boomers will ever fit that mold!
If there ever comes a day i guess it would be a great idea and lets face it not everybody should still be on the road LOL
