St. Pete Beach holiday lighted boat parade 2012
St. Pete Beach, FL: The St. Pete Beach/South Pasadena Holiday Lighted Boat Parade will be lighting up the waters of Boca Ciega Bay on Friday, December 9th beginning at 6pm in South Pasadena and traveling south towards Pass-a-Grille. All are invited to come to the Viewing Party, Tree Lighting and Concert in Horan Park, 7701 Boca Ciega Drive, to watch the boat parade as it passes by the Community Center. Beginning at 6:00pm, locally-renowned band De Lei’ed Parrots will be performing and the M.A.D.D. Festival of Trees will be displaying beautifully decorated trees and wreaths that can be bid on and won. Other activities include children’s holiday craft projects, bounce house, local food vendors, and the arrival of Santa by boat. Wrap up the weekend by attending the St. Pete Beach Holiday Land Parade on Saturday, December 10th beginning at 9:00am. The parade will feature festive floats, city vehicles, cheerleaders, marching bands, parading puppies and Santa riding high atop a shiny fire truck. Parade-goers are invited to come enjoy breakfast in front of Wells Fargo Bank on Corey Ave. for a nominal fee.
