This is really the most exciting project we have in the works in St. Petersburg and it looks like the project is moving along.
I can’t wait to see what it is going to look like. Last week, a jury of community, architecture and design experts narrowed a list of 23 design teams interested in submitting plans for a new landmark Pier to nine semi-finalists.

When I was a kid in St. Pete in the 1950s, it was a totally different structure than it is now. This was very 'modernistic' when it was built. Look forward to seeing what they pick.
Any time frame on when they decide on final design? My husband grew up there and we visit often. Looking forward to seeing it complete.
