Well in Treasure Island it is easy, it usually take me 10 minutes and $1.50 from the moment I leave my driveway till I get back with a clean car.
The Treasure Island Car wash is 3 minutes away from my house, it has 4 outside spots to dry or vacuum your car and 3 pressure wash spots.
Today was another story, all wash spots were taken and all dry spots were empty.
No big deal, the pressure washing cycle takes 3 minutes and the car can move to the dry spot. 3 minutes go by 4, 5, 6 .... For some very strange reason, today people did not understand that you can NOT detail your car sitting in a wash spot. Nobody moved for 15 minutes, finally they all left at once and it was my turn. ...................

Cute blog. We have one similar to yours near Naperville Illinois in Bolingbrook. Great place great price. $3 can not beat it. sometimes the lines are long but usually it is fast.

Anne, when these self serve car washes first opened, they were called a "quarter wash" because you could get a full wash for ONE quarter. Fast forward forty years, $1.50 is still a great bargain.
Used it myself a few times ;) but never made it in 3 minutes and not for $ 1.50 either. Guess practice makes perfect
