Have you ever been to Hong Kong? or What is the definition of a High Rise building?
The other day I showed a waterfront condo at Mansion by the Sea in Treasure Island and the buyer said, "OH, I did not realize it was a high-rise building"
It took me a second to relpy because everytime someone mentions Highrise I think of Hong Kong where you are in a jungle of high rise building and I mean high rise.

I lived in Hong Kong for two years Anne. Not all of Hong Kong is a jungle of high density skyscrapers. Some of it is actually quite rural. As for your client, it's probably just the way he speaks English. Even in my town, there's a nine story building which is known to locals as "the high-rise"
Is there a true definition for High Rise? Does the building have to be so many floors to be considered a high rise?
There is truth in the adage "It is in the eye of the beholder."
We have a condo project with a 4-floor elevator building and they call it a high-rise....
