BECOME A WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR OR CERTIFIED LIFEGUARD ST. PETE BEACH, FL: St. Pete Beach Aquatics is offering Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard Certification classes. The WSI classes will be held from 3:00pm to 7:00pm on Fridays at the Tampa Bay Turner Swim School. Session I runs from March 12th to April 23rd and Session II runs from April 30th to June 4th. The Lifeguard Certification classes are held at the St. Pete Beach Community Center Pool and take place Monday and Wednesday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and on Saturday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. There are three available sessions running from March to May. All students must be 16 years old to enroll and course fees are $125.00 for residents $150.00 for non-residents. Three of my friends and I are very intrested in taking the Water Safety Instructor class, but unfortunately our school gets out at 3:15 and therefore we would be about 30 minutes late to the class every friday. I don't know if we would still be able to take the class under these circumstances, but it would be awesome if you could move the time to 3:30.
