I moved 5000 miles to live in Florida, to be in the sun, to listen to the waves, to swim in the Gulf ....
Now that I am here I often forget to appreciate the beauty we have. Not today. I met with a friend at 8.30 this morning and we walked on the beach for an hour and a half and then went to breakfast at South Beach. It was a great way to start a Sunday morning and a good reminder why I am here. The water was very calm, the Pelicans and seagulls were out, people were fishing at the beach, it was just beautiful, relaxing and gave me a lot of energy. I just love Florida.
I took these pictures on Madeira Beach

Good for you!! I do this too....I haven't been up to my cabin in months, I work so hard to be able to afford it and this fall am too busy to get up and visit the natural beauty...killing me
That sure looks great. I could use a walk on the beach about now.
I moved here ten years ago to be close to the beach. Its a big year if I walk on the beach three times. If I move away I know I'll kick myself for not using it more.
Great photos a very desolate stretch of beach. Thanks for sharing
Now, that is a beach! Am glad that you were able to fulfil your desire, to live in this beautiful area.
Hi Anne, you are fortunate to live near the beach. Most of don't take the time to enjoy the beauty that is everywhere. Thanks for the reminder, I am going to step outside, take a deep breath of clean fresh air and enjoy my mountain views.
We walk on the beach everyday without fail at 5 or 6 in the morning. The best way to start your day.
What a beautiful morning! I recognise that area :)
That really sounded great, what a way to start the day!
Hi Anne:
Looks like a great place!
Definitely worth moving the 5,000 miles.
