The Island Grand on Treasure Island here in Tampabay is a unique luxury direct Gulf front building.
The Island Grand in Treasure Island is a condo complex and was built in 2006 and has only 7 units.
The ground floor is all parking and has real garages verses covered parking, the first living and the second floor have 2 condos each, one with a north west exposure and one with a south west exposure. The 3 stories above that have only one huge unit with the biggest balcony I have ever seen here on our beaches.
The Island Grand is located on Gulf Blvd and the corner of 104 Ave in Treasure Island. It sits right on the beach and all units have amazing views onto the Gulf of Mexcio and enjoy fantastic sunsets from their balconies. I do not know how well you know Treasure Island (if at all) but the particular part of the beach is extremely wide, maybe (my wild guess) 20 times wider than the beach on Sunset beach which is also a part of Treasure Island and only 2 miles south of the Island Grand.

Another unique thing about the Island Grand is that the 3 units that have the enormous wrap around balcony also have their own private swimming pool on the balcony.
The other 4 units have a roman hot tub. How would you like this, sitting in your own pool or Jacuzzi right on the beach with beautiful views of the sunset and a cocktail in your hand? Other than this, of course they all feature stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, garden jetted tubs, 11 foot ceiling etc.
Another big plus is that the Island Grand condo association allows big pets. You also have a private elevator access with this little electronic device (I love it) and it also opens all doors for you. To summarize all this, I really like the feeling of privacy that the Island Grand has, the beach front is simply out of this world, you can bring your pet and the units are so spacious and since they are all corner units you get a lot of natural light.
The kitchen is big but not too big and it is open to the living - dinning area with a snack bar or Island kitchen, whatever you want to call it. The floor plans are unique (not your same old shoebox type) and the rooms are bigger than what you usually see.
It always bothered me that most of the balconies we see here in Treasure Island or for that matter up and down the beach from the Skyway Bridge to the Clearwater Bridge are so small. You can hardly fit a table for 4 people on it and a lounge chair. . . well it does not work. This condo complex and however designed it had a great understanding of Florida living. People come here to enjoy the outside. So, the huge huge huge balconies are a big plus in my mind.
I do not know how many times I see beach front property advertise as "luxury waterfront living" but trust me, this one really is.
