Holiday Break Kids’ Camps in St Pete Beach

St. Pete Beach FL  The kids are out of school for the holidays but you have to work. St. Pete Beach, boating classes.

USCG Safe Boating Program. 

This is one of the fun but very useful classes that you do not find too often. The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 78 has a 13-week continuous Safe Boating program every Tuesday in St Pete Beach at  7:30 p.m. at the  Warren Webster Community Center, 1500 Pass-a-Grille Way, St. Pete Beach.

You can start at your convenience. At the first day, come at 7 p.m. to register. You can begin any Tuesday and finish 13 weeks later or take up to two years to finish whatever fits your schedule. June program includes: "Powering Your Boat" June 14,     "Knots" June 21, and    "Weather" June 28.

Emmy Award Winning Actor expands acting classes in St. Pete Beach

St. Pete Beach, FL:  Children in grades Kindergarten through 5^th are invited to attend a very special "Breakfast with Santa" event at the St. Pete Beach Community Center, located at 7701 Boca Ciega Drive.  This holiday event will be held on Thursday, December 23^rd from 9:00am to 11:00am.  Event sponsor Chick-fil-a of St. Pete Beach will be providing a delicious breakfast and the Chick-fil-a cow will be dressed in his holiday best to hand out gifts and prizes.  Other activities include take-home arts and crafts and very special photo opportunities with Santa.  Cost is $5.00 per child.  All participants must be pre-registered by Tuesday, December 21^st .  To register your child, call the Recreation Division at 363-9245.

TREE LIGHTING CELEBRATION IN ST. PETE BEACH
ST. PETE BEACH, FL:  The City of St. Pete Beach will be hosting their annual tree lighting ceremony and celebration on Friday, December 3rd beginning at 6:00pm in Horan Park, 7701 Boca Ciega Drive.  This free holiday event is open to the public and will feature a Make-and-Take craft station for kids, bounce houses, festive music, refreshments, and the tree blessing and lighting.  St. Pete Beach Chick-fil-a will be on hand selling food and will bring their prize wheel and cow character in his holiday best.  Santa will also make an appearance to hand out candy and pose for holiday photos.  Call 363-9245 for more information!

I just love the place and I am excited to go and watch the soccer games there.  They open not too long ago and I have been there a few times already. Love their food and the service is very good. It has the "beach feeling" but at the same time it is upscale, something we needed in our  St. Pete Beach  -Treasure Island area. Ocean Breeze will offer specials for the World cup games, so if you like soccer and you are in the area maybe I will see you at one of the games.

BECOME A WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR OR CERTIFIED LIFEGUARD ST. PETE BEACH, FL: St. Pete Beach Aquatics is offering Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard Certification classes. The WSI classes will be held from 3:00pm to 7:00pm on Fridays at the Tampa Bay Turner Swim School. Session I runs from March 12th to April 23rd and Session II runs from April 30th to June 4th. The Lifeguard Certification classes are held at the St. Pete Beach Community Center Pool and take place Monday and Wednesday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and on Saturday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. There are three available sessions running from March to May. All students must be 16 years old to enroll and course fees are $125.00 for residents $150.00 for non-residents. For more information on becoming a Water Safety Instructor or Lifeguard, contact the pool at 363-9264.

Waterfront condos for sale in the St. Pete Beach Yacht and Tennis Club.

This gated waterfront condo community is located at the northern end of St. Pete Beach right across the bridge to Treasure Island, only a few hundred yards from the beautiful beaches  and right on the intracoastal waterway. St. Pete Beach, FL:  The Beach Stewardship Committee of St. Pete Beach is looking for volunteers to help with the First Annual Sea Oats planting project taking place on Saturday, June 20^th from 9:00am to Noon.  This is a great project for friends, family, neighbors, church groups, community associations, students needing volunteer hours and other community organizations.  

 Efforts will begin at the southern end of St. Pete Beach and volunteers should meet at the Paradise Grill on Pass-a-Grille Beach.  Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves, hand shovels, sun block, hats, beach shoes, watering cans and or milk jugs, and knee pads.  Parking passes and refreshments will be provided.

Planting of native vegetation like sea oats helps form and maintain sand dunes, critical to controlling beach erosion.  St Pete Beach is one of several beach communities that benefit from Pinellas County Department of Environmental Management's donation of 10,000 plants for the first year with hopes of growing this event annually.  Come out and help us save our beaches.
