Let’s start with theWeatherly, 9415Blind Pass rd. the first building with views to the east overlooking theIntracoastal waterway.

Four condos have been sold in the Weatherly in 2011.    401, 603, 1204, 703 price range was between $201,500 and $265,000 average days on the market was 96.

Next is theConstellation, 9425 Blind Pass road with views to the north east overlooking the pool and Intracoastal waterway.  10 condos have been sold in the Constellation in 2011.  1001, 306, 604, 403, 903, 807, 802, 504, 304, 406. Price range between $175,000 and $330,000 average days on the market 70.

The Intrepid,  9495 Blind Pass rd. with views to the north overlooking part of the beach and Intracoastal waterways.       1condo has been sold in the Intrepid in 2011.    204 for $214,000 was on the market for 85 days.

Last building is the Courageous, 9525 Blind Pass rd. with views to the west overlooking the beaches.  10 condos sold in the Courageous in 2011.    1101, 707, 406, 1107, 1205, 1203, 1202, 203, 302, 404. Prices ranged from $170,000 to $320,000. Average days on the market  142

Prices depend on the location within the complex and within the building, the different views and if condos have been updated or not.

ST. PETE BEACH, FL:  The St. Pete Beach Recreation Division and the Friends of St. Pete Beach civic group are excited to bring back the very popular “Music in the Afternoon” event, free and open to all.  The events are scheduled from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Sundays, February 12th, March 18th, April 15th, and May 20th at the St. Pete Beach Community Center, 7701 Boca Ciega Drive.  This casual afternoon tea is a nifty event for those over fifty and will feature light refreshments and plenty of dancing and socializing to the music of  Lew Barrows and The Rhythm Kings.  Those interested in attending are asked to please pre-register by calling 727-363-9245.

MASTERS PROGRAM AT THE ST. PETE BEACH AQUATIC CENTER

St. Pete Beach FL  The Perform Coaching Group is now hosting their Masters Program at the St. Pete Beach Aquatic Center, 7701 Boca Ciega Drive.  Taught by Coach Hank Campbell, this program is for swimmers of all fitness and training levels.  The program’s workouts are tailored to the individuals’ goals, such as pool competitions, triathlons or open water races.  The program is held Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 5:30am to 7:00am in the St Pete Beach Aquatic Center’s heated pool.  Participants must have an active U.S. Masters membership and pay the coaching and pool fees of $70.00 per month.  Call Coach Hank directly at 727-455-1184 to register St Pete Beach Aquatic Center’

St. Pete Beach holiday lighted boat parade 2012 

St. Pete Beach, FL:  The St. Pete Beach/South Pasadena Holiday Lighted Boat Parade will be lighting up the waters of Boca Ciega Bay on Friday, December 9^th beginning at 6pm in South Pasadena and traveling south towards Pass-a-Grille.  All are invited to come to the Viewing Party, Tree Lighting and Concert in Horan Park, 7701 Boca Ciega Drive, to watch the boat parade as it passes by the Community Center.  Beginning at 6:00pm, locally-renowned band De Lei’ed Parrots will be performing and the M.A.D.D. St Pete beach offers lifeguard certification classes

St. Pete Beach, FL:   Want to be prepared to get an awesome job next summer?  Become a Certified Lifeguard.  The St. Pete Beach Aquatic Center will be offering its Lifeguard Certification Course this December.  Students must be at least 15 years old and complete a pre-course swimming and diving test.  Classes will be held December 19^th through the 22^nd from 8:30am to 4:30pm.  The class fee is $125.00 for residents and $150.00 for non-residents, books not included.  Classes are located at the St. Pete Beach Aquatic Center, 7701 Boca Ciega Drive, and all interested participants can stop by to register in person.   Reserve your space now.  Contact the pool at 363-9264 for more information.

Nina’s café in St Pete Beach is located on 9524 Blind Pass road right at the bridge to Treasure Island.

It is a great place to have breakfast and lunch. The food is really good and the service is wonderful.

Nina and everybody on her staff is extremely friendly and the moment you walk in you feel at home.

I love this little place, Manny and I had breakfast at Nina’s cafe last week and the portions were so big we both could not eat it all.

St. Pete Beach Seeking Players for

45+ Basketball League

St. Pete Beach, FL:  The St. Pete Beach Community Center is seeking teams for the new Men’s’ 45+ Basketball League that will launch this Fall.  Games will be played on Wednesday nights in the indoor gymnasium at the Community Center & Aquatic Complex, 7701 Boca Ciega Drive.  Game times are 6:45, 7:45 or 8:45 depending on weekly schedule.  If you have a team of men ages 45 and up who would like to register for this fun, lightly-competitive league, call the Recreation Division at 363-9245 for more information.  The season will begin when a minimum of four teams are registered.

Center have up to 50 sellers all in one place and are usually frequented by nearly 500

I love the location and I love the outside sitting area, the nice breeze you always get and I love to watch the boat come in and out of Blind Pass, in short I like everything about Woody’s but the way they serve their food.

 Everything is on plastic and paper plates and plastic knifes and folks.

 If I got there for Lunch and have Fish spread ( really really good) I do not mind.

But tonight I was there having dinner, Surf and Turf and it is on a paper plate and I am supposed to cut the steak with a cheap plastic knife……………. So, Woddy's in St. Pete Beach is a great place for lunch and sunset drinks.

 St. Pete Beach, FL:  The St. Pete Beach Community Center announces the return of its Tutoring and Sport Technique program for the 2011-2012 school year.  The program offers youth in grades 1^st through 5^th safe transportation to an afterschool program that combines homework help with socializing and active play.  The program runs each school day with Tutoring and homework help from 3:00 to 4:30pm and Sport Technique from 4:30 to 6:00pm.  The program picks up students from Azalea and Pasadena Fundamental Elementary Schools but students from any other school are welcome to be dropped off.  Each program is $20/week for St. Pete Beach residents and $25/week for non-residents; children can enroll in one or both programs weekly.   Registration is going on now, come by the Recreation office at 7701 Boca Ciega Drive or call 363-9245 to enroll today.

St. Pete Beach, Boca Sands waterfront condos.

This beautiful newer gated waterfront condo complex in St. Pete Beach sits right on Boca Ciega Bay. Construction on Boca Sands started in 2005 and it was finish in 2006

Within 3 days of taking reservations, there was not one condo left.

There was a real rush on these waterfront condos and people stood in line. We saw two different kinds of buyers, locals who saw a chance to live in a new and big condo right on the Intracoastal Waterway and at the same time, live across the street from the beach. A perfect combination.

The other buyer was just in it for investment purposes and they wanted to flip the units as soon as they were finished.

Boca Sands has 64 units altogether and it is a gated community on Gulf Blvd in St. Pete Beach. Two small pets up to 20 pounds each are allowed and you can rent the condos for a minimum of 60 days.

Boca Sands in the St. Pete Beach community has a wonderful recreational area with a pool and a spa, and waterside cabanas surrounded by tropical landscaping. The whole complex has a very relaxes and exclusive feeling to it.

All condos have 9 foot ceilings and a nice open floor plan with lots of natural light and nice size balconies. When the developer originally sold the condos the buyers had lots of upgrades to choose from and also different floors and countertop. St. Pete Beach, Boca Sands waterfront condos

Silver Sands has a total of 300 some units, ranging from 1470 square feet to 2400 square feet. The complex has 5 living floors and a few different floor plans. The view from each unit onto the Gulf of Mexico and or the Intracoastal Waterway, is a little different. Silver Sands sit on more than 17 acres of perfect beach front, and it is one of the biggest gulf front parcels here in St. Pete. The complex has 2 heated swimming pools and spas right on the beach and 4 tennis courts, a beautiful clubhouse with billiard room, exercise room, party room and much more. Living here really feels like being in a vacation resort. There is covered parking underneath the building and plenty of guest and unassigned parking outside.

Silver Sands is a Condo complex, not a condo hotel. You can rent a unit, but it has to be for a minimum time of three months or longer. Also, the biggest confusion about Silver Sands is "PETS"  are they allowed or not?

They are not allowed in building 6500 and 6600 but they are allowed in building 6650.

This gated community is kept in immaculate condition. Nothing ever looks like it needs repair or fixing. The landscaping is beautiful and the location right here on St. Pete Beach speaks for itself.

Take long walks on the beach, enjoy the sunsets, have a cocktail at our local beach bars, see the dolphins play. Walk to our downtown Corey Ave district; enjoy the nearby restaurants and shopping. Both the Gulf of Mexico and the Intracoastal Waterway are great places to fish and boat. Take advantage of all the great things our area has to offer. Come visit Silver Sands and see for yourself.

Corey Ave is a unique location in St. Pete Beach with restaurants and shops and bars and a theatre. In 1937 Corey Ave was dedicated to become the business district on St. Pete Beach.  Today you find stores like Button and Bangles, the Shell store, Simply perfect, Swigwam bar, Corey corners Antiques and collectibles Vincent William gallery, The wine shop and many more.

St. Pete Beach, Lifeguard lessons for Teens

Another great idea to use the pool this summer.

Beginning at June 20, 2011 to July 11, 2011 there are lifeguard classes at the Recreation Centre in St. Pete Beach Fl at 7701 Boca Ciega Dr.

Starting at 10:00am-12:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  St. Pete Beach Residents pay $90 for this 2 week training, non residents pay $ 100
