This Thursday is our February Happy Hour, being held at The Pub in Indian Shores, starting at 6pm.  Enjoy drink specials, appetizers and mingle with friends.  Everyone is invited, this is not a meeting, and as always, there is NO Cover Charge!

February 20 is our next Movies in the Park, weather permitting. This is a Free movie in the Nature Park, starting at dark, with free popcorn. Bring your own chairs and blankets. We should be announcing the movie soon.

We are planning our Glow Bowling night on February 26. It will be at the Twedt's Lanes 13100 Seminole Blvd. This is black light, "glow-in-the dark" bowling. It starts at 9pm and costs $13/person, including shoes and unlimited bowling until 1am. At our last bowling night we had about 35 people. We expect this one to be even more popular and need to make sure we reserve enough lanes, so if you plan to attend please RSVP to me, becky@irbhome.com.

Boat Club: February 18th is our next Boat Club Meeting at Jimmy Guana's. It starts with happy hour at 6pm and the meeting at 7pm. February 21st is the Boat Club's Brunch at Island Way Grill. This was a very popular event last year. Over 80 people attended. If you plan to join us by either car or boat, please RSVP to boatclub@irbhome.com

Don't forget, on March 9th we will be having a city election.

Here is the schedule for the Indian Rocks beach activities in May

This Saturday is May 9 is the Second Annual Beach Greenfest.  Sponsored by COTI Community Christian School, it will be held at 24th Avenue & 1st Street - IRB.  Join them for a fun filled day of Food, Live Music, Kids Activities, Educational Exhibits & Vendors!  Have fun while you learn how to go green

Later this month, we will be sponsoring the first ever Indian Rocks Beach Homeowners Association Golf Tournament.  It will be held Saturday, May 30th (the week-end after Memorial Day), at Largo Golf Course.  The cost is the normal green fee of $23.  You buy your own lunch and beer after-wards.  This is not a scramble; it is all for fun.  We plan to have prizes for the best score.  First Tee off is 9am.  Everyone is welcome.  Bring your friends.  Please e-mail me to reserve your space.  Space is limited.

Saturday, May 9th will be our second Movies On The Beach ,  with a showing of Captain Ron at the county park across from Guppy's.   Sunset is around 7:45pm so, hopefully, it will be dark enough by 8-8:15 pm to show the movie. Bring your beach chairs, blankets and refreshments, we will supply the popcorn.   Come early and enjoy the sunset. 

Our monthly Happy Hourwill be at Coaster's on Thursday, May 14th.

May 17th, our Boat Club will be having an afternoon Island Partyon Caladesi Island from noon until whenever.  This is an informal party.  Everyone will be bringing their own food and drinks.  Meet at the northern tip.  We will put the banner up, so you can find us. 

Our Annual Meeting is May 20th, 7pm in the City Hall Auditorium.  We will be electing our new Board of Directors.  If you would like to get more involved with the Homeowners Association, this is your chance.  Please attend this meeting.  Everyone is welcome.  At this meeting, we are also modifying our By-Laws.

May is safe boating month, so at the monthly Boat Club Meeting , held at Marlin Time on May 21st, we will have a guest speaker on the subject of Safe Boating.  Everyone is welcome.

On Thursday, the 9th, is April Happy Hour at the Red Lion, from 6 to 7:30pm.  Enjoy free appetizers and drink specials.  As There will not be any meeting, just fun.  This event will also be a food drive for the Beach Food Pantry.  We will be collecting canned food and donations. 

The Biggest Beach Party Ever is on April 25th. 

Saturday is the Indian Rocks Beach Easter Egg hunt - 10 am in the Nature Preserve park.  All children 12 and under are invited to participate.  There will be games and arts & crafts sponsored by COTI School and of course the Easter Bunny.  This event is co-sponsored by the City of Indian Rocks Beach and the IRB Homeowners Association.

This Saturday will be the first  "Movies On The Beach"  with showing of the 1975 classic "Jaws"  at the county park across from Guppy's.   Sunset will be at 7:40pm so, hopefully, it will be dark enough by 8-8:15 pm to show the movie.

Please join us for this weeks events and remember everyone is a member but, we asked that you fill out a membership form so we can keep you updated on everything we will be doing this year. The Homeowners Association's Holiday Social and annual Toy Drive will be Thursday night, December 11th, We will be in Chic-a-Si park from 6 - 8 PM.

Please bring an un-wrapped toy for our toy drive, and join us for some Holiday Cheer. The IRB Friends of the Library will be donating $300 worth

of books. There will be a surprise visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and

some classic holiday movies will be playing on the big screen. Photos with

Mr. & Mrs. Claus will be available for a donation. We will have free

popcorn and refreshments. This event is in place of our monthly Happy Hour.

This year, we will be taking the toys to The Haven, an R.C.S. center. The Haven provides safety, support and education for victims of domestic violence and their children. They have asked us to spread the word that they are in need of more gifts for teens. Most people donate for young children. To help meet that need, the Indian Rocks Beach Homeowners Association is going to purchase an additional $200 worth of teen gifts.

Sorry, just got cancel because of the weather

This is a cool event; you do not want to miss it. Indian Rocks Beach Homeowners Association is organizing another Movies in the Park event. This Saturday November 15^th at 7pm. It is free and you can bring your whole family. Also, bring your lawn chairs and coolers if you want to. They will be showing the "The Incredibles", winner of the 2003 Academy Award for the Best Animated Feature Film. It will be one a big screen outside at the Nature Park. I have to say, it is really great that the Indian Rocks beach Homeowners association is so active. Last week at the Taste of Indian Rocks beach, their big annual event they had more than 3000 people and lots of food and music and fun. So, come out this weekend and watch the movie.
