Treasure Island, do I really want to wait for them to deliver?

Noooooooooo, I do not think so. I had fun today.

As some of you know, I am redoing my entrance way and it turned out to be a bigger project than I thought (what else is new?)

I went to the building supply store to order some more rocks and stones but I was not prepared to wait a few days for delivery so I decided to just load them up and bring them home myself.

The salespeople (staring at my high heels) said that would not be a problem and they would help me load the car.

You should have seen the looks on their faces when I pulled up at the loading area. 330 pounds of rocks, potting soil grass plugs, new plants and some other little stuff and I still had enough space for my handbag.

Like I mentioned earlier I bought all these at Carroll's Building Material.

I have Costa Rican Jade, Mexican Beach Pebbles, Bronze Sparkle, Kryptonite Rock, Black Luster,  Heritage and Georgia Sunset. 

I paid $75.68 for 263 pounds of these beautiful landscaping rocks and stones.

I am so excited about my yard project but with my luck it will rain all week and I just can't wait to get started.

So much to do, take out all the old plants that i do not want anymore, pull weeds, put weed block down etc....  Treasure Island yard, look at my rocks and stones.

I am one of these people that has a hard time sitting still and that might be the reason why I constantly have a "project" going on.

Right now it is to change the flower bed right at the entrance to the house. 

 Like every year I was going to put new Mulch on, already thinking "what a waste of time and money" because my house is surrounded by trees and shrubs and I always have a ton of leaves on the Mulch and you just can't get them off.

The only way would be to use a blower but that also blows away the Mulch..... You see my dilemma?  Well I think I found a solution. I am going to put rocks and stones in my flower bed (big enough so they won't fly away when I blow the leaves off.  Did some research on the net and found this place called Carroll's building material. I felt like a kid in a candy store. They have a huge selection of beautiful stones and rocks etc. The staff is very friendly and I spend less money than I thought I would.
